Well, we finally experienced our first real blizzard in five years! We (mom and the kids) loved it. Dad....not so much. The beautiful snow led to hours upon hours of shoveling and then a stiff neck and sore back, etc. *yawn* We've just got to keep the snow here for two more weeks for the cousins to play in over their Spring Break. (fingers crossed) Here's some pictures of our house after the days and days of snowflakes falling and blowing all around.

Your pictures are great! I remember the first real blizzard I got caught in between Minot Air Force Base and Bismarck. It took me four days to make it home(8 miles short). I weathered in at a colleague's home in Minot and got drafted into cooking several Louisiana Style meals for them. They always refer to that blizzard in 1995 as "the time we were ship wrecked together." Blizzards are fun times to stay home, cook up a good soup, bake and shop the internet for a snow blower. The world stands still when blizzards come...and the world standing still for a bit is always a thing of beauty!
