Visit to Chi-Town

Our trip to Chicago to visit Grandpa and Grandma Grenz was great!! We finally got to stay more than just a weekend and really were able to relax and enjoy our time. We got to eat at Melting Pot and my new favorite, Pilot Pete's which is located alongside an airport runway so the girls enjoyed watching the airplanes take off. The food was great too. The food at Grandma Grenz's was even better. YUM! We went to IKEA, a car show, swimming, church (where we were excited because they sang our favorite new (for Gretta) and old (for Micah) song "How Great Thou Art."), the mall with the most retail space in the Country, on some challenging runs, and even some long walks too. We went to see fireworks as you can see in the pictures. Paige was a bit scared of the loud noises, but Emma didn't seem to mind and just stared at the sky. Looking forward to our next visit. Kaitlyn gets to go this weekend and stay for a week with Grandpa and Grandma and her cousins.
