Here's Emma playing on her favorite jungle gym (the printer).

Paige feeding the geese at the park. She loved this and there were SO MANY geese!!!
Yes "Gank" and "La La" was correct. Gank is Grandpa and La-La for some reason is Grandma Grenz (according to Paige) We went to Chicago (mom, Paige and Emma) for the weekend. We actually left early on Thursday morning because I had to close up shop since Emma tested positive for strep throat. Everyone's healthy now and we had a GREAT time visiting. Even the 10 hour drives went very well. I think the trick to driving with infants and toddlers is:
A. Bring an extra car seat if possible and move them around every two to three hours. It really makes a difference to change the scenery for them. I also got out new toys with their new location, which would last for about an hour.
B. Have a DVD player with a charger. This wasn't that great on the way to Chicago in the daylight, but at night on the way home, it was perfect for Paige.
C. Stop for breaks and let them run free. We stopped at the outlets in Wisconsin Dells and Paige ran all over the place for about 30 minutes and it was perfect. Emma even crawled around a bit too on a blanket I had in the car.
Anyway, we had a nice, relaxing weekend and it worked out because Micah was VERY busy this weekend. Looking forward to going back soon.

The good news is, contrary to what I had been told, the blue chalk came off the freshly painted steps quite easily. I miss the reminder of the special time with family.
