Relaxing Weekend.

These are some of my favorites from the weekend. We just stayed home and relaxed. No Sioux Falls shopping, no Minnesota, just relaxed as much as we wanted to, well, as much as the kids would let us. (I don't care if you've already had three naps today, you look tired, Paige, how about going down for one more?)

This one reminds me of Paige.

Friday night Micah had wrestling, so we just hung out at home. Saturday and Sunday Micah actually had no events (first time since August.) Saturday we ran and slept in and mom ran out to some Christmas shops to browse, or just enjoy peace and quiet. Saturday night we went to a Christmas party and the kids stayed home with a sitter. It was so cold out, it almost made us wish we had stayed home, but we enjoyed seeing some of our old coworkers. Sunday morning, we ran again, Micah went to church and Gretta stayed in bed with the girls until Micah got home and made waffles for everyone. That's our favorite Sunday tradition. Good movies on all day...Forrest Gump, Sleepless in Seattle and Spanglish. I think we had as many as six blankets on the bed at one time this morning when we were all cuddled up trying to stay warm. Our room isn't nearly as warm as the girls' rooms. It snowed all day today and added to the existing snow outside. We didn't mind being inside a bit. Paige and mom did go sledding for about 45 minutes today which was about all our cheeks or mom's back could handle. More about that to come later.
