Our 2nd little Dino.

We went to SDSU's Penny Carnival today. The kids go dressed up in their Halloween costumes and the athletes for each sport have the kids participate in each sport doing a skill and then they give them a toy. It's also set up like a scavenger hunt and they have a card which gets signed off on by each sport once the child has participated in their skill event. Once they fill up the card, they can get candy and pop and all the things Micah and I ate most of on the way home. It's set up along the indoor track. Last year, Paige was definitely too young, but Kate enjoyed it. This year, we didn't have Kate with us, but Paige actually participated and threw a basketball in the hoop with Dad's help, kicked a field goal, hit a baseball off a tee, (kicked) a golf ball into the hole, pinned a horsetail on a horse (after walking away with it, thinking it was now hers), pitched a softball under-handed, attempted to serve a volleyball, but just hit it, which was good enough, went fishing for a toy with the swim team, and so many other things. Soccer was out of town, but I'm sure she would have loved to kick a ball. Paige is into dribbling and kicking the soccer ball lately, with no persuasion from us...(honestly). She's not bad either. Before we left the house to go to campus, I got some pictures of Emma in her purple dinosaur costume. I'll go find the cd with Paige in this costume and post them. I do have pictures that I took at the carnival, but I wanted to post these cute ones of Emma first.

I love these pictures. She is always so happy. She looks like a big rollie pollie and she is just smiling away...
