Sorry no pics.

Another weekend flew by, but that's ok, we're only 2 days away from Florida. We had a nice weekend, well, Micah was busier than ever with Basketball games, Volleyball Games,a Football Game on Saturday and the Festival of Champions (Athletic Banquet for all sports)on Sunday. We didn't see him all weekend, actually since Friday morning. The girls and I enjoyed ourselves. Friday night we went to Pizza Ranch with the McGahey's, went home and went to bed early. Saturday we started out the day taking Jake and Mollie to the vet to get their exams and shots so they too can fly to FL. At 10am, we went to a birthday party and Paige ate two huge pieces of cake and then asked to take a cupcake home. After the birthday party, we went to the football game at 1pm which was great, we sat right on the endzone and all of our friends and their kids ran around and played. We brought popcorn from home and drinks so it was nice not to have to run to the concession stand. It was chilly, but sunny. Paige had her snowpants on and a sweatshirt. Emma had her snowsuit on too. I had a fleece top and fleece pants. We were all comfy. Paige hit her nose jumping off the bleachers onto the grass, but recovered well. Emma drank her bottle while laying on a blanket on the grass in her snowsuit. Some of the soccer players came over and held Emma and Paige and couldn't believe how much hair Paige had and how much Emma can do now. After that we went home, took naps and then went over to the McGahey's for barbecue chicken dinner. It was a pajama party, so the girls wore matching jammies. Sorry again, no pics. Sunday morning, we stayed in bed for as long as we could stand it (Paige and Mom) and then we finally got up and I took the girls to the McGaheys so I could run. I ran with Gretta, the new soccer Graduate Assistant and felt really good because she asked if we could walk!!!!!!!!!!!! We went for 42 minutes. That made my day. After running, we helped the McGahey's rake leaves, ate their Halloween candy and headed home again. Naps went well. I took a long hot bath and then a nap myself. The Festival started at 7, but I went early to help Micah with things so the sitter came at 6. We didn't get home until 10:30pm and the girls were sleeping. Micah got to actually sleep in today and go running and hang out downstairs with me and the daycare kids. It was nice to have him around. He played with Paige in her kitchen and we sang songs and did "Ring around the Rosy" a lot. Emma would laugh everytime the two of them (she and dad) made eye contact. We all missed him. He's back at work now and has another basketball game tonight, which I think we'll go to. It's sunny out here and 50 degrees. It's naptime and right now I have eight little ones sound asleep downstairs while I lie in bed upstairs surrounded by monitors and silence. AHHHHHH.

I know that "Ahhh" feeling! I love it, but it just doesn't come along enough. I took a vacation day from work yesterday, just to stay home and have that "Ahhh" moment. It was heaven, especially after spending the whole weekend with all the kids at Disney. Who doesn't need some "me time" after that?

I am starting to understand the "Ahh" feeling! There isn't many times these days that I get to have time for myself. But it is wonderful regardless.

Cannot wait to see you sometime soon (we hope!) Have fun in Florida.
