Benjamin Shea Grenz came into the world at 6:57 AM on Friday, July 18th. As you can see from the previous post, we fully anticipated having a couple more days to enjoy Gretch with the basketball in her belly, but found very quickly that "my little BOY" would be with us much sooner than next Tuesday. Gretch woke up at 3:00, left for hospital at 4:30, and you can figure out the rest. Ben came in at a strapping 6 pounds, 6 ounces and 17.5 inches long.
Thank you to everyone for the texts, calls, visits, gifts, cards, emails, and running shoes. What, you did not send me a new pair of running shoes yet?!?!? Well, get with the program, people.
