Some People Call Me "Puff"

Alright everybody, you get your first post from the one and only male member of the South Dakota Grenz household. I know my brother has made our blog a "permalink" on his blog, so let me answer some of the questions that those wandering over from there may have.

For the friends from Pillsbury, yes, I did marry somebody WAAAAY out of my league.

Yes, we do live in South Dakota on purpose.

No, we do not live anywhere near Mount Rushmore, or any mountain for that matter.

Contrary to what my father-in-law tells EVERYBODY when he introduces me, I do not fill pop machines for a living.

Yes, I do work at South Dakota State where our mascot is the Jackrabbits. I have a knack for latching on to places with odd mascots. So far I have been a Cougar (normal), Conqueror (kinda normal), Doughboy (Hey, I did go to Pillsbury!), and a Crusader (They are now called the Purple Storm - NOT normal) Basically, I go through all of this to say that if the University of California Santa Cruz Banana Slugs ever have a job opening, don't even bother to apply because I am a shoe in.

Hopefully you can all enjoy my family even half as much as I do by seeing their pictures that are contained on this site. And if you are ever just driving through South Dakota . . . there are some nice people down the street from us that would love to have you stay at their place! :-)
